Hello,

I used the SW add-in to generate a path for my UR3 to follow, however I want the nozzle tip to remain normal to the surface being deposited on. How would I make this possible? Please see the attached photo.

I am able to have the nozzle remain normal to the surface if I select a curve on the edge of the part (happens automatically), but I need to have specific patterns that will not work by just selecting a single edge.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello,
When you select the curves to export in SolidWorks with the年代W add-in, in the same time you have to select the surfaces you want to be normal to.
In this case, the normals of your curves in RoboDK will be oriented relatively to the selected surfaces.
